Promoting the Neurotechnology Industry

NIO has hired Feinstein Kean Healthcare, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide that specializes in integrated corporate and product communications for life sciences, to execute a multi-stage industry promotional campaign.
NIO's industry promotion activities are focused on three objectives:
- Branding neurotechnology as critical to national competitiveness, healthcare saving, quality of life, & human potential
- Educating public, media & officials about the benefits of neurotechnology
- Supporting translational neuroscience and neurotechnology events and publications
NIO will achieve these objectives with the following outreach campaigns:
#1 Brain Industry Campaign
- Launch public awareness campaigns via the media, Internet and other appropriate outlets; promote industry leaders & emerging technologies
- Drive NIO awareness and membership by sponsoring major commercial neuroscience events
- Brand neurotechnology as the industry with the companies developing next-generation treatments for brain-related illnesses
- Who is working to cure Alzheimer’s? Neurotech
- Who is developing advanced prosthetics for casualities of war? Neurotech
- Who has improved the lives of millions of people with mental illness? Neurotech
#2 Neurotech Industry Investment Campaign
- Educate financial, business leaders, and the general public about benefits of investing in neurotech
- Promote neurotechnology market research and investment seminars to highlight neurotechnology companies
- Develop opportunities for neurotech executives to participate in investment conferences and media gatherings
